Gaming PCs for Cyberpunk 2077

Which PC should you choose for Cyberpunk 2077?

Traffic, crowds and lighting change the workload across Night City. Start with resolution and ray tracing: playing without it and using Overdrive are different hardware targets. This selection covers Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty without promising identical frame rates in every scene.

Minimum requirements and our recommended PC

These purchase recommendations exceed the publisher’s minimum. They are hardware planning advice, not measured or guaranteed FPS results.

• Sedatech starting point for a new PC: Ryzen 5 7500F / Core i5-12400F · RTX 5060 · 32 GB · SSD 1 TB
• Sedatech recommended configuration: Ryzen 5 9600X / Core Ultra 5 245KF · RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB / RX 9070 XT · 32 GB · SSD 1 TB

Which processor and graphics card?

Our balanced CPU choices are Ryzen 5 9600X and Core Ultra 5 245KF. RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB provides headroom for ray tracing; RX 9070 XT is an alternative when prioritising conventional rendering and adjusting effects accordingly.

1080p, QHD or 4K: choosing your settings

At 1080p, match detail settings to the graphics card. QHD makes GPU power and video memory more important. Path tracing needs a separate budget: consider RTX 5080 or 5090 for 4K with these effects, choose DLSS settings carefully and compare tests matching your exact setup.

RAM, SSD and essential checks

We recommend 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB NVMe SSD for a new PC. Allow room for updates and other games. The official 70 GB figure describes game storage, not a sensible total drive capacity for the computer.

Frequently asked questions about PCs for Cyberpunk 2077

Is the official minimum enough for a new PC?

The minimum describes entry-level play under the publisher’s stated conditions. For a new purchase, leave headroom based on your monitor, settings and other applications.

Do these builds guarantee a specific frame rate?

No. Scenes, updates, drivers, resolution and settings affect performance. Hardware guidance does not replace testing the exact configuration.

Can I change components before ordering?

Yes. Adjust the available options and check the final build: CPU, graphics card and VRAM, RAM, storage, operating system and connections must match your target.
