Our information obligation under the Battery Act

Old batteries should not be disposed of in household. Used or expired batteries can be returned free of charge to our warehouse location. As consumer, you are legally responsible for the disposal/return of old batteries.

Batteries containing hazardous material are indicated by a symbol composed of a crossed-out waste container and a chemical symbol (Cd,Hg, or Pb) critical for classifying which hazardous heavy metals the batteries represent, as show below:

"Cd" stands for Cadmium
"Hg" stands for Mercury
"Pb" stands for Lead.
